Need to take your SE Hiring Process up a notch? Don’t have a Technical Exercise yet, but know you need one? Or perhaps validate that your technical exercise is optimal? Technical exercises work both ways – an opportunity to validate talent, but also a way for that talent to get more excited about the role.

I’ve interviewed at dozens of firms for SE roles, and have completed a large number of technical exercises. Some have made me want the job even more, meaning I’d work for less pay to get onboard. Others appeared as large red flags about the firm causing me to respectfully bow out of the hiring process.
